I took this little movie to show how bright it was in Alaska at 10:46 pm when some sort of marine life broke the surface. It looks pretty minor in this movie, and upon reflection it truly was, but it got me excited at the time. Our digital camera, a Canon PowerShot G2, is capable of capturing thirty-second movies. They aren’t great movies by any stretch of one’s imagination, but the movie-capture mode is still a nifty feature.

Elevator Area On Our Deck

Here’s the beautiful area around the elevators. On the left you could view the sea and on the right you could view Radiance’s main atrium. In an interior so beautiful, we seldom grew impatient while awaiting an available elevator going in our direction.

Map Beside Elevators

From this guide you can see the general layout of the ship. It wasn’t easy to visit every point of interest in just seven days.

Becky With Captain Ringborn

Here’s Becky with Radiance’s Captain Kent Ringborn. The captain obliged our photo request just after singing in the Crown & Anchor Lounge at a party for those of us who’d sailed with Royal Caribbean in the past. There was an elderly couple at the party who celebrated their sixtieth Royal Caribbean cruise.

Stela & Luisito

Here are the people who took care of us at dinner. Luisito (right) was our head waiter. He’s from the Philippines. Stela, Luisito’s assistant, kept us with all the bread and drink we could handle. We couldn’t have asked for better service.
