I took this photo near the entrance to the Cascades diningroom, which was where Becky and I dined each night. On the right is an elegant waterfall. The fellow pictured at the piano is the technician who prepares the piano for the pianist.
The midnight food galla offered all sorts of good eats, one of which was this lovely spread of fresh fruit. This is how Becky serves fruit at home—not!
And here’s a spread of seafood hors d’oeuvres served at the midnight food galla. If you’re into seafood, I don’t see how you could go wrong with this platter.
When our dinnermate, Joe, asked for “nothing” for dessert on our first night at sea, this is what he was served. That’s what service is all about on a cruise ship.
Here’s a photo of our stateroom. We had a queen-size bed and plenty of room everywhere except the loo. Unlike our television on the Norwegian Sun, our television aboard Radiance didn’t offer auxiliary AV jacks, so Becky and I couldn’t view our photos on the larger screen. Our cabin steward, Bernardo, kept our little abode at sea shipshape. We were just getting settled in when I took this photo.
