Becky went to a fruit and vegetable carving demonstration on a day at sea. The cantaloupe and grapefruit give life to this cute bunny.
One of the two fruit carvers made this unique tropical arrangement. Who would have thought that a pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, lime, carrot, and bell pepper could look so cheerful?
This is an interesting wooden sculpture hung on the wall near the entrance to the Wheelhouse Bar. Becky asked me to take this photo one night when we were waiting for our dining room to open.
I took this nighttime photo of the tranquil Caribbean Sea from our balcony. The full moon was the only source of light, so I left the shutter open for 3.2 seconds. This was one of those nights when we were really glad to have a balcony.
The brand-new Caribbean Princess embarked upon her maiden voyage on April 2. I took this photo on the day before her embarkation. The Caribbean Princess alternates between eastern and western Caribbean itineraries. She weighs in at 113,000 tons, 21,373 tons heavier than Coral, and with a beam stretching 118 feet, she’s 12 feet wider than Coral, making her too wide to pass through the Panama Canal. Like the Star Princess and Grand Princess, the Caribbean Princess sports an ultra-cool observation area mounted high atop her stern.
