This is the entrance to Sabatini’s, an Italian restaurant located on the Promenade Deck (3). If the fine cuisine of the Provence or Bordeaux dining rooms doesn’t suit you, you may dine here for US$20 per person. We thoroughly enjoyed both the food and service in the Provence dining room, so we didn’t dine in Sabatini’s.
From lunch until mid-afternoon the main pool area offered live music. This guy always seemed as though he really enjoyed what he was doing. He got people to dance with him and with each other. Even when people seemed to be focusing only on their tans, this guy kept dancing and belting out notes as though each were his last.
Notice the semi-submerged area flanking the pool. This is a nice area just to wet your feet as you pass from one end of the ship to the other. The main pool area offers four hot tubs. Becky and I enjoyed the Lotus pool area and didn’t use the main pool or its hot tubs.
While we were docked in Cozumel, a bunch of kids were having a good time cooling off in the main pool. On the upper deck on the right is The Grille. We enjoyed grub from there on several occasions.
The Lotus Pool area is for adults only, at least most of the time. Becky and I enjoyed the hot tubs and pool here. The pool was filled with freshwater. The jets in the hot tubs were a bit too strong. We couldn't sit in one place for long because the jets began stinging us. Maybe Princess didn't want guests to get too comfortable in those tubs.
The Lotus Pool is covered by a retractable roof. The whole area had a soothing ambiance that was very conducive for relaxation. We liked the Egyptian theme. Becky was very impressed by the red wall carvings on the upper deck. Notice the semi-submerged areas flanking both sides of the Lotus Pool. This pool was full of folks when we were docked in Cozumel.
