One of the Sun’s restaurants is
Le Bistro. The main theme of Le Bistro is Mediterranean. Unfortunately,
Becky and I never dined here. We should have planned our dining
more carefully so that we could have enjoyed more of the Sun’s
restaurants. Dining here carried an extra charge of US$10 per
person.

Another place I wish we had dined is in this
Japanese restaurant. Like Le Bistro, there was a surcharge
for dining here. Unlike Le Bistro, however, this restaurant
featured à la carte menu pricing.

One of the Sun’s interesting features
is its murals that flank both sides of the ship. The colorful
and whimsical paintings kept us company whenever we were on
the exterior perimeter of the ship. Hanging from the ceiling
above this deck are the Sun’s tenders. Tenders
were used to transport us from the ship to shore at all of
our ports except Cozumel.

Okay, so you’ve got this gorgeous sunset
on your right and the murals in the previous photo on your
left as you make your way with your mate to a dinner that’s
been prepared by professional chefs. Life just doesn’t
get much better.
