Max, Mimi, Grandpa, Aunt Mary, and Uncle Buddy returned to Buford this evening. Today was Grandpa’s sixty-seventh birthday and we had a little dinner for him when he arrived. Max made a card for Grandpa, and it was all his idea to do so.

Max was glad to be home, but he had a great time in Pigeon Forge. They rode go-carts several times and spent a lot of time in the pool.

Mama’s away from home tonight for a sleep study, so Max, Marlie, George, and I will miss her.

Max is watching a Thomas & Friends video as I write this, but we’re about to turn in for the night.

Today is Grandpa’s birthday and Grandpa awoke to Max’s singing him “Happy Birthday.” Grandpa thought that was sweet! Max has been so excited about Grandpa’s birthday.

I picked Max up around 10:00 this morning and we did a few errands. This afternoon we took it easy and made Grandpa a birthday cake. Granny came over for Grandpa’s birthday dinner. Max was super-helpful and set the table. He also planned a few games for the party. We had to play Cowboys.

Grandpa had a great birthday and we’re glad we could celebrate with him.

We’re also glad to have our favorite snuggle buddy home with us tonight.

We last shared images from our big camera last July. But here are fifteen to get things going again. There are four from Grandpa’s birthday party in South Georgia in July of last year, one of our little buddy having a good time at Sky Zone, and ten from his fourth birthday party:

Today was Grandpa’s sixty-fourth birthday. We called him first thing, and Max sang “Happy Birthday” to him. Max has been excited about Grandpa’s birthday all day. After Grandpa put in his laps at the mall this morning, he came by and picked up his sidekick to go to Bojangles. When they were done he went back home with Grandpa. I picked him up a little later. Daddy has been busy all day on the below images and Grandpa’s birthday present.

When I picked Max up from Mimi and Grandpa’s, we went to Chick-fil-A for Dress-Like-a-Cow Day. Max wore his cow suit from Halloween, and he was the cutest thing. He was so excited about going dressed like a cow, eating, and playing at Chick-fil-A.

After his big morning he was ready for his nap. He slept until time to go out to dinner for Grandpa’s birthday. After getting to the restaurant, Max reminded us why we usually don’t take him out to eat. He was loud and hard to handle. Max threw his sippy cup and Jaddie took him from his highchair to serve a timeout outside the restaurant. Things made a turn for the better when he found out we were stopping by Granny’s on our way home.

When we got back to our house we had a cake and Grandpa opened his presents. Max was excited about the cake. Grandpa was sweet and got Max to help him blow out his candles.

Max is hanging in his own bed tonight. Jaddie and I plan to watch our favorite show, All in the Family.
